In lieu of flowers or cards, donations in Marcelo’s honor may be made to the Marcelo Avilés Legacy Fund, which funds artist programming and projects that Marcelo cared for deeply. Most of all, please support artists directly – buy a ticket, a record, a CD, a book, go to a concert, write a poem, get up and dance.
