Cave Canem fellow James Cagney is a published poet and writer from Oakland. He has performed throughout the Bay Area and Vancouver, Chicago, and Mumbai. His current chapbook is entitled Dirty Thunderstorm.
Chris Davidson‘s poems have appeared widely, including, recently, Monster Verse: Poems Human and Inhuman. He runs an occasional salon out of the house in Long Beach, CA, he shares with his wife, kids, and dog.
Karen Llagas’ first collection of poetry, Archipelago Dust, was published by Meritage Press. A recipient of a Hedgebrook Residency and a Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize, she lives in San Francisco and works at UC Berkeley.
Julia B. Levine won the 2015 Northern California Book Award in Poetry for Small Disasters Seen in Sunlight, and her other collections include Ask and Practicing for Heaven. She received a PhD from UC Berkeley, and lives in Davis.
