UPDATE: This event has been postponed to 2023. Northern California Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Foundation has adjusted their 2022 MLK celebration events to support our region’s efforts in fighting the impacts of the latest COVID-19 transmission during the current omicron wave, while at the same time maintaining their commitment to service and community.

The 12th Annual MLK Music Festival returns to Yerba Buena Gardens with fabulous Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations. Featuring multi-Grammy Award winner Tony Lindsay (formerly of Santana), Les Femmes Fatales (of Grammy-winning band Train) and Hip Hop lyrics from the artists of Hip Hop for Change. Emcee’d by hosts from the hit show “I Remember That Song!”

Come early to join the interfaith commemoration at 11:45am on the Esplanade Stage in Yerba Buena Gardens, led by the San Francisco Interfaith Council.
