Movies in the park are alive in Yerba Buena Gardens as a screening of the hit 2024 musical Wicked transforms the Gardens into a grassy Emerald City! Enjoy food and drinks from local restaurants and pre-show entertainment featuring the fabulous Nia Politan as Galinda and Snaxx as Elphaba, plus KALW DJ Eryka setting the mood. Bring your blanket, low lawn chairs, and best Oz-themed garb (under your layers of course!). Cheer, hiss and sing along as Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba Thropp and Ariana Grande’s Galinda Upland become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. Hint: It ain’t easy being green.
