Kim Addonizio is the author of a dozen books, most recently Bukowski in a Sundress: Confessions from a Writing Life (Penguin), and a poetry collection, Mortal Trash (W.W. Norton). She lives in Oakland, CA, and teaches poetry workshops privately and online.
Barbara Jane Reyes is the author of Invocation to Daughters (City Lights Publishers). She was born in Manila, Philippines, raised in the SF Bay Area, and is the author of four previous poetry collections, Gravities of Center, Poeta en San Francisco, Diwata, and To Love as Aswang.
Javier O. Huerta is the author of American Copia and Some Clarifications y otros poemas, both published by Arte Publico Press. He studied in the Bilingual Creative Writing MFA Program at the University of Texas at El Paso. Currently he lives in Berkeley, California.
Kay Nilsson is a poet performer currently attending the University of San Francisco. He has performed at slams and poetry readings all over the Bay Area and was a featured as a literary performer at the Queer Rebels Performance Festival, KQED’s Literary Hour with LitCrawl, and was one of the featured poets for the ¿Dónde Está Mi Gente? Latino Spoken Word and Poetry Festival in San Francisco.
Musical guest Ruby Mountain is an Oakland–based vocalist and songwriter who creates love vibrations and ascension with live looping, synth and eclectic beat making.
