Fronted by the incandescent Berkeley-raised vocalist Kimiko Joy, RUBaDUB Posse is a testament to reggae’s enduring power, celebrating songs of love, liberation, unity and justice that have inspired people across the globe. Encompassing classic tunes from the rocksteady, roots and dub eras all the way to dancehall and contemporary reggae, the RUBaDUB’z repertoire ranges from Bob Marley and the Wailers, Steel Pulse and Gregory Isaacs to Marcia Aitken, Barrington Levy, Sister Nancy, Peter Tosh and Sade, to name a few. The Posse features a stellar cast who’ve played with many of reggae’s greatest figures, including bassist Waddell Bell, keyboardist Joe Bressler, guitarist Vince Black, drummer Darian Gray and percussionist Mario Vela.
